May General Membership Meeting
How successful was the 2019 Missouri Legislative Session?
Different legislators have different opinions on the success of failure of this year’s Missouri legislative session. Was it a success? Did legislators fail to deliver on key issues?
Joining us at SITE’s General Membership meeting May 22 will be legislators from both parties to give us their perspective on just how the session went.
Senator Gina Walsh, a Democrat from North St. Louis County serves as the minority leader for the upper chamber. She will review the session from the Democratic side in the Senate.
Over in the House, Rep. Aaron Griesheimer, a freshman Republican from Washington will share his thoughts on how his first session went and perspective from the Republican viewpoint.
Not only will each give us their thoughts on the 2019 session but what issues are left to address in 2020 and beyond.
Join us for an informative discussion on state issues from the “legislator viewpoint.”
