SITE Gives Members a Voice in Government

Capitol Picture 001In the past, SITE Improvement Association has represented St. Louis Contractors in various important issues brought before the Missouri State Legislature.

As contractors face the 21st century, nothing will have a more direct effect on the construction industry than the decisions of government...For this reason, it is imperative that businesses have a voice in government.

SITE provides this "voice."

SITE employs a full-time lobbyist in Jefferson City, assuring contractors that any proposed legislation that might effect their businesses will be monitored. SITE members are kept informed on these bills, and SITE supports or opposes those bills that it feels will make a difference.

Also, the SITEPAC Committee is another means of allowing SITE members to become involved. SITEPAC (the SITE Improvement Association Political Action Committee) works to encourage and promote well qualified candidates to seek state and local office. It also supports state and local issue elections.
