Over 220 SITE members flooded Bogey Hills Country Club to celebrate the holiday season during the annual Holiday Happy Hour in December. Amongst the camaraderie and laughter were giving spirits as the sponsored charity of the year, American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge of St. Louis, received over $19,500 in member donations. For patients struggling with intense cancer treatment, Hope Lodge offsets housing and grocery needs with free room accommodations, nourishing meals, and a supportive care team. SITE Advancement Foundation matched another $19,500 for a whopping total of $39,000! Hope Lodge representative Laura Ozenkoski was shocked by the donations from the members and absolutely thrilled with the results from the lottery tree auction and gift card donations. The evening was capped off with great food, drinks, networking, and pictures by the beautiful tree. Christmas spirit was in such full swing that even Dr. Seuss could see that Christmas means everything.
