SITE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION HONORS MIKE STEINIGER

For only the thirteenth time in its nearly 60-year history, SITE Improvement Association has awarded one of its members with its highest recognition, the President’s Award. Mike Steiniger of Kuesel Excavating Company, Inc. was recognized with this award by Board President Kurt Unnerstall for his years of dedication and service to the Association.

The award is bestowed to a SITE member whose dedication, guidance, leadership, and time has advanced SITE Improvement Association in the construction industry.

Kuesel Excavating Company, Inc. has been a member of SITE for more than 40 years, joining the Association in 1982. Mike served on SITE’s Board of Directors for eight years, two of which he served as President of the Association. Mike has also served at chairman of the Operating Engineers Negotiating Committee and was a long standing member of the SITE Labor Policy Committee.

It was a family affair celebrating Mike. His lovely wife, Becky, and five of their six sons were in attendance to see Mike accept this deserving award!
